If you scratch my back, I scratchback!
Scratchback is an online “tipping” system, it allows you the author to receive tips and in return you give text-link or image ad position on your website. the author decides the tip amount and you automatically receive the money through the automated system, scratchback does take a small fee,but in the end it is an great service.
Now I just had a great idea, if you have an TopSpot widget from scratchback, why don’t you scratch my back and i’ll scratch you back, this way we can have a nice intern webring, for free! if you are interested tip-me and leave an comment here with your website url, and i’ll tip you back ASAP

So irritating, the idea of ‘Google-Approved’ linking methods. They have a weak system for judging actual quality, so they need people to explicitly spell out ‘this link is for fun’ vs ‘this link is for reals’. Seems like they’ve surrendered the fight to improve the real underpinnings of their search idea.
